Snowmobiling is an $1 billion dollar industry in New York State. There are well over 10,500 miles of trails. Approximately 235 snowmobile clubs belong to NYSSA. In 2008, the number of registered snowmobiles was over 120,000. According to an Economic Impact Study conducted in 1998 snowmobilers spend an average of $75 each day they are on the trail!!!!

NYSSA is dedicated to improving the sport of snowmobiling. We are working toward expanding and improving New York's trail system. The more trails the better chance of more snowmobilers visiting your business.

Groups opposing snowmobiling are multi-million dollar organizations. Even though we have made our presence known in Albany, we are still not as strong or as loud as these other groups.
